Not bad. A few times I got hit seemingly out of nowhere even after the last bug in the wave is dead. Are there some sort of toxic blood or what? Also, at some point it gets real hard to notice enemies on the all-bloody background. To make it a full-fledge game needs achievements, permanent upgrades and sort of plot I guess.
Also, why is the second mech invulnerable?

dibaka responds:

Thank you! - Yes, you are correct: The yellow spurts are acid and will damage your mech. I guess I should make this clear by adding warning icons for the first wave 🤔

So, eh... what am I supposed to do with the stars? The description says "collect the stars to fight back". How? I got like 300 stars and got bored, and there's nothing new and no sense of progress.
As for minigames - laser evasion is pure luck - you mostly start in a lower part of the screen, just place the dot in the lower corner and hope the laser don't go there. In bowling game the ball disappears too fast, the physics feels weird. The wire cutter thing - I simply don't understand what to do there, clicking on wires does not work.
The premise and promise was good, but the execution was not up to it.

CelestiaIris responds:

There’s the gacha game, which if you skip it enough times, you’ll get to a sponsor, then after that you have to try to get to the next hundred in stars, then you’ll get to a boss.

Neat, but I got confused whe I suddenly needed a mouse even though it was not usable before even in the main menu

freast responds:

ya,,,,,, I intended on adding a prompt to hint how to control some of the mouse minigames, but I was running short on time and forgot to actually implement it before the deadline neared

Small but neat. Also, what happened to the other animals? Did they drown?

voidgazerBon responds:

I am sure they managed to escape just in time :)

Pretty hard right from the start it seems, needs really precise jumps and fast jumping to climb the conveyor... The idea is nice, but I'd say definitely needs less of a difficulty curve to hook the player

ProctoredGames responds:

Alright, I have just made the rolling pins slower (the second line of rolling pins is now the speed that the first one was)
Thanks for the feedback, this lines up with what some people were saying in playtesting

The idea is not bad, but the pacing is really slow. I got bored on the first level with multiple colored keys (why keys and not keycards btw?). Some rocks don't start breaking when you shoot at them which makes it hard to get whether you are supposed to go that way or not. Anyway, has potential but needs work

Alejandro-X-Azul responds:

Thanks for the review, only the black rocks can break, sometimes if you shot and they don’t break is because the bullet hits the ground first “yellow rocks”

I ran out of energy on the first day of work...

Thetoulousaing responds:

Ain't that real life

Looks promising. I'd say the most confusing thing for me is not being able to shoot directionally by combining direction+shoot.

Wulo responds:

That is the spin I wanted to take on the genre. To make you position yourself around the enemies to shoot, not use free aim. But yeah, it takes a moment ot get used to.

Okay, the idea is nice, but the lab fire made me totally stumble. What am I supposed to do there? IF doesn't give you looping mechanic and you need to point exact number of repeats, so... I got stuck. What's the solution there?

bartholomheow responds:

If I understand correctly the thing you're missing is that you can put an if inside a repeat. And actually you don't need an exact number of repeats. If you try to move while facing a wall the robot just doesn't. Also fire is an obstacle... If you're still stuck DM me and I'll give you the solution.

Not bad, but I'd say the "rewinding" part of cloning looks good only for the first 2-3 times. Then it gets boring and just makes gameplay unnecessary long. Might as well just teleport the character back to the starting point (or even respawn him nearby)

lowpixelbyte responds:

Thanks for the feedback!

You're right! The most critical point was the rewind, where in some situations many players expressed discomfort or impatience. This is definitely something that should be changed in future versions or ports. Thank you very much!
