Seems fun and interesting but I simply don't understand what to do even though I've played some coding-themed games before. Definitely needs some tutorial levels.

Partially prefilled the first level with written code now. So you should be able to run it and get a feel for it!
Real fun, great work
Thank you very much for playing! :)
Pretty neat, stylish. Sometimes unclear what to do, maybe make a link to a walkthrough for players who have troubles. Also, ending is a bit... hanging in the air. Still overall good game
glad you enjoyed! thanks for playing and for the feedback!:) here's the walkthrough!: https://youtu.be/ha3XrUydiVI
Stages of my reaction to this game
1. Oh, nice art and music. seems fine (btw, the style seems somewhat familiar, were you involved in making some of the "Rusty Lake" games?)
2. Oh, nice twisted puzzle logic, funny (this goes for a mulled wine ingredients)
3. Wait, what? Dude, that's beyond twisted logic, that's downright dangerous weid stuff (this goes for bubble bath and cassette player)
4. O_O OMG WTF (well you know when this happens)
5. Oh... Well, that explains everything I guess. (you know when this happens too)
6. No happy ending... Kind of sad, feel bad for the dude
Well, I wonder if there's a guide for all the achievements and any difference for the ending with all of them?
Anyway, AWESOME game. Fits perfect for Halloween (and I was wondering why making Christmas game in October, silly me)
Thank you for playing and thank you for sharing this with me, it's great to get feedback. at present there is no guide to the achievements and they don't have any effect on the ending. The game was made back in June in 2 weeks, from start to finish for Adventure Jam 2022.
EDIT - Just wanted to let you know that it is nominated at The Game Development World Championship. If you have a moment to help a new indie game dev out, please follow the link and click the vote button https://thegdwc.com/games/last-christmas
It's not clear if you are supposed to lead the other fishes or to follow them or to be independent. Also, controls are a bit clumsy or the fish is slow. The idea, visuals and music are pretty nice though
If you put the mouse far from the center of the screen the fish will move quicker. In the Game the objective is to survive as much as you can
The visuals and music are nice, but the part where you need to run over the symbol like 100 times to kill ghosts got me too bored and annoyed
Thank you for the feedback.
Calibrating a challenge correctly for most users can be difficult. It certainly will not be a fit for all user.
In hindsight maybe I should have had a skip option for this one, since this is a point where players might stop and miss out on the rest of the game.
Not bad. A few suggestions.
1. Auto-fire and click for special instead of holding mouse button and double-click for special
2. "EXP" or whatever is gathered from dead enemies looks too similar to enemy attacks and can confuse to make a false moves.
3. mouse lock or alternative keyboard control.
Thank you for the feedback! My intention is to make a second versiĆ³n of the game, so this information is very usefull :D
Tanks suck. But the game is as delicioso as a slice of a steaming pepperoni.
True! They are by far the most difficult enemy in the game and can be very frustrating when there's a lot on screen.
Glad you enjoy it nonetheless!
Gets boring fast. Same colors, same background, same everything. Music pacing up is not bad, but where's the music from?
Edit: oops, my bad
you can find all the music sources in the credits
