Hmm, this is interesting. Pretty visuals, atmospheric sounds, lore and plot are intriguing. A few suggestions
1. Some directions about where are you going, like room names when you point at the door, and arrows where you can click to go in corridors. The character is supposed to know at least part of the place layout and not searching the place by trial and error.
2. The crystal imprinting minigame was WAY too unclear, I had to look the walkthrough to understand what to do.
Other than that, the game is really good

Joachim-Berger responds:

Thank you for your critique!

Seems interesting but i see no text, just white blocks instead when I move mouse over something, so I can't understand what to do

ErikSwahn responds:

Seems that is a bug I have never discovered :/, hope I find a solution on that one...

The color palette is too acid, combined with high speed it made my eyes scream to stop this torture after a pair of minutes, the gameplay is pretty nice though. Also, some sort of plot intro or something would be nice

NoGig6 responds:

thanks for the feedback!

I tried, but it's just too eye-straining. I understand the maze idea, it's good, I enjoyed the previous parts and I'm sure this one has good plot parts too, but I just don't want a headache from playing it

adriendittrick responds:

Don't worry, next part will have a more conventional style!

love it, all the tricks are cool, this is getting really interesting

adriendittrick responds:

Hopefully the third one will be just as good :) it might not be to everyone's tastes.

Seems fun and interesting but I simply don't understand what to do even though I've played some coding-themed games before. Definitely needs some tutorial levels.

crow-seeds responds:

Partially prefilled the first level with written code now. So you should be able to run it and get a feel for it!

Real fun, great work

Yword responds:

Thank you very much for playing! :)

Pretty neat, stylish. Sometimes unclear what to do, maybe make a link to a walkthrough for players who have troubles. Also, ending is a bit... hanging in the air. Still overall good game

ygretz responds:

glad you enjoyed! thanks for playing and for the feedback!:) here's the walkthrough!: https://youtu.be/ha3XrUydiVI

Stages of my reaction to this game
1. Oh, nice art and music. seems fine (btw, the style seems somewhat familiar, were you involved in making some of the "Rusty Lake" games?)
2. Oh, nice twisted puzzle logic, funny (this goes for a mulled wine ingredients)
3. Wait, what? Dude, that's beyond twisted logic, that's downright dangerous weid stuff (this goes for bubble bath and cassette player)
4. O_O OMG WTF (well you know when this happens)
5. Oh... Well, that explains everything I guess. (you know when this happens too)
6. No happy ending... Kind of sad, feel bad for the dude
Well, I wonder if there's a guide for all the achievements and any difference for the ending with all of them?
Anyway, AWESOME game. Fits perfect for Halloween (and I was wondering why making Christmas game in October, silly me)

Polytelygames responds:

Thank you for playing and thank you for sharing this with me, it's great to get feedback. at present there is no guide to the achievements and they don't have any effect on the ending. The game was made back in June in 2 weeks, from start to finish for Adventure Jam 2022.

EDIT - Just wanted to let you know that it is nominated at The Game Development World Championship. If you have a moment to help a new indie game dev out, please follow the link and click the vote button https://thegdwc.com/games/last-christmas
