Thanks for playing and for the feedback!
Pretty nice. I'd say the problem I found is that you never know how much of enemy strengh is base, so it's harder to plan on deeper levels. Overall - not bad.
Thanks for the feedback! Thats a good point about min strength. I could def add an indicator.
Good job beating the game as barbarian!!
I don't know what's the problem but sometimes it keeps standing on the border of the block without going down. So... kind of disappointing
Yeah, sorry, it's the 72h solo gamejam status, so it's pretty raw. But i am working a bit on improving it and updating in the future. Probably should have stated it clearer to not disappoint.
Well it's beautiful and has nice music, but having no upgrades for king and only one available upgrade for each piece means that losing mid-level will only mean you go the same way with the same gear all over again, and with only one life it's pretty easy to die by accident wrong move. So... yeah, I got bored pretty fast.
you can upgrade mid-level as you earn ELO (press "P" to pause and see the upgrades screen), it's one of the ways the game helps you beat levels.
Pretty neat, I'd say needs some balance in terms of shop slots, I kept getting only expensive upgrades in first wave so it was hard to actually upgrade anything. Or needs more money income. Still pretty fun.
updated, now better expensive don't spawn on low waves
+1 to the list of nightmares to have
Pretty nice for a first game, does what it says on the tin and works fine. Looking forward to what you are cooking next!
Thank you my friend i needed to share the nightmare to end it
Pretty neat, there's a problem that sometimes when you move turret and them returns to the field the turret remains "locked" as if it is kept being dragged and does not shoot. Maybe switching turret controls to keys could have prevented this. Also, would be cool to have achievements/medals, bug-o-pedia and/or turret customization
Yep, I encountered the same bug but unfortunately it was 20 minutes before the jam submission deadline so I didn't have time to fix it. Messing with it a bit more, it's interesting cause it only seems to happen on the browser version, but it also doesn't show up in a Remote Debug window.
Not bad for quickly wrapped-up game. Would be cool to have some rewards or achievements to keep player in for a longer time, but I understand the time constraints
Thanks! I did consider adding them but I've not used the API before yet. I'll check it out!
Edit. Okay, I made it till the end and update my score. Some pixelhunting moments, but nothing too critical, especially with this logical in-game hint mechanics. My main complaint is the last battle, the werewolve's health is too high for this mechanics and the battle becomes annoying instead of challenging. Other than that - not bad! Love your style and different mythology references.
Sorry to hear that the game was freezing for you.
I have had one rapport during testing on freezing on cut-scenes, (video scenes tying gaming scenes together).
I thought I had identified the source of that problem and fixed it.
If you can PM me with information on what scenes have frozen for you, it could help me to see if it is the same problem, and possibly avoid it for the future.
Thank you for commenting and letting me know you had a problem playing the game
