[THE RUSTY NAILS - PILOT]

Not bad, I see efforts put in here and I like the premise. To me this seemed too long for a pilot and inconsistent plotwise. The starting point is they need a drummer, but in the end they don't find one, instead we have the introduction block that was not really necessary because we have them introduced via their dialogues. I'd suggest having only the introduction part and some more music for the pilot and looking for a drummer as a complete first episode with actually finding one maybe.

Thank you! I agree with this, there's a couple things that you mentioned that I'd have done diiferently if I thought more about it. The pilot was mostly to develop the characters and the setting rather than the overarching plot, and I think that I should have focused more on the plot now that you mention it xD, I really appreciate the criticism, I'll take some of what you said into consideration.

Nice, I'd suggest building more emotion by showing the guy proudly unpacking this expensive lure and equipping it with a smug face before casting it.

My, what a brilliant thing. I kind of hoped for less predictable ending, but the efforts and love put in this movie are more than compensating this. 5 stars, no less.
