Interesting concept. Can't say I really like the drawing though, cause it doesn't look like mayan without a description

Not bad. Is left mouth angle higher because of the scars or it's just an expression? If first - my applause, if latter - think of making it constant, as such scars should pull surrounding skin at least a bit.
