But he will fail when the sun rises.


This illustration is from a poem by Arvid August Afzelius from 1812, called Necken, using a mixture of different folklore

"Gudar wäpnas, allt förlossas, - då hos Dig
Skall jag åter på wågor blå
För nya werldar gyllne harpan slå."

This poem to, ends with the sun rising and shattering a dream.
